Langston House: 2 Bed, 2 Bath Luxury Apartment

Excellent location, a minute walk to local High Street with a Tesco Express and Sainsubutys local plus several pubs and a couple of takeaways. 20-minute drive into Windsor. Bedrooms are a good size and comfortable if 4 or fewer people stay. Overall, the property was really good 👍

As a party of 6, there weren't enough towels provided, and the kitchen could have included a few more cooking utensils to save having to eat out. The showers could also do with a deep clean

Location to Legoland.

Whole flat smelt of damp, which resulted in a lot of fruit flies. Stained bedding and towels that all smelt musty and damp. Towels we especially bad. Asked for more bedding and towels which we were told would be dropped off, they never arrived. Family of 5 therefore had to use a baby towel we brought from home. Very large bag of dirty bedding in a cupboard, likely why everything smelt so bad. If we didn’t have 3 children with us and had just had a 8 hour journey, we would have left straight away.

The apartment was very pleasant, modern, clean, and comfortable. It was in a really great location - very near the shops, pubs and restaurants. We had everything we needed in the kitchens and bathrooms. The living area was big enough for 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers), as was the dining table.

It had potential.

The entrance and immediate outside was untidy and scruffy. Weeds, nettles, rubbish and cigarette ends. Poor or no outside maintenance.Inside was okay. Unfortunately this property is advertised as LUXURY. It may have been but isn’t today.

Contacted the owner who did responded quickly and brought fresh linen and towels and arranged house keeper the next morning. After the 1st night initial nightmare the rest of the stay was perfect . Nice apartment in a lovely village.

When we arrived the apartment at 7pm and it was not ready. Beds not made up. No fresh linen. Bathroom was dirty. Dirty towels in Bath. No fresh towels. Appeared as if the previous occupants had left the night before and housekeeping had not come in. Contacted owner who offered refund and advised to book elsewhere. We had just arrived after a 8hr drive from Scotland with 3 tired and hungry children. Was advised we were being opportunistic looking for a free night where simply we were just looking for reimbursement for cleaning the place up and making our beds which the owner brought that night.

The apartment was very modern and beautiful. Smart tv and WiFi were brilliant. Nicely decorated and sofa was very comfortable. Tesco express a minute walk away.

Limescale everywhere. Every cup if tea had bits of limescale coming out of the kettle, gave it a quick clean but didn't do much. Shower head was covered In limescale. No tea/coffee provided eventhough it mentioned it was complimentary. Found some food in cupboards left by previous guests. Dishes pots and pans were dirty, no dishwasher tablets. No glasses only wine glasses. No tea towel or oven mitt. Microwave had some crumbs. The lip on the top of the cupboards were dirty and some stains here and there. Fridge/freezer had some crumbs and stains. One of the single beds seemed to have either a king or super king cover on the quilt which was very annoying. No brushes, vacuum or cleaning supplies in the house and the only sponge in the kitchen was a used one. It was a beautiful property but would rather not have to wash a load of dishes before making dinner after a 9 hour drive and burn my hand using makeshift oven gloves.

Good location with good local facilities and nice walks in the woods all very close by. Comfortable and adequate space for 5 adults for a short stay.

Although the kitchen was well equipped with appliances, cooker, fridge, dishwasher etc, the provision of pans, baking sheets, dishcloth, tea towel, etc was lacking. We had to buy items from the nearby stores that are usually provided in holiday rentals such as dishwasher tablets and kitchen roll. Our booking was for 5 people, but bedding was only provided for 4, although this was quickly corrected when I contacted the owner.

Apartment was very clean and tidy, and for our short stay had every thing we needed. Location was good just off the main town, but close enough for the two local supermarkets ( tesco&sainsburys). Also close enough for windsor and the castle. Motorway access good for our journey down from north wales, also for accessing london underground which we did at hillingdon to get into london. As it was on a sunday only £3 in the station car park for all day.

There was nothing we disliked about the property, but as we ate out most of the time, we only really had washing up for breakfast bits. But could have done with a rea towel to dry up. Although there was a dish washer it didn't seem worth using for so few things. Otherwise all good.
