I liked that it was in the center and close to the sea.

I was very disappointed with this stay, not because of the apartment itself, but because of the host’s behavior. Even though I made the reservation three months in advance, until the last few days before arrival I was under constant stress because I did not have a clear confirmation that the stay would actually take place. The host contacted me via WhatsApp and requested additional money outside the Booking platform, which created unnecessary pressure and uncertainty. Upon arrival, I paid a 100 EUR security deposit outside the platform. I checked out on time, left the apartment clean and without any damage. At the beginning, the host stated that the deposit would be refunded within a few days, but this did not happen. Already on the first day after check-out, the host asked me to leave a positive review, even though the deposit had not yet been refunded. After five days, I had to contact him again, and he then claimed he still needed to “check if everything was fine”. I find it unprofessional and manipulative that it supposedly takes seven days to verify an apartment that was left in proper condition. The host also falsely claimed that he allowed an early check-in, helped with my luggage, and made special arrangements. In reality, I entered the apartment about one hour later, not earlier, and I had to store my luggage elsewhere at my own expense. No assistance was provided by the host. The apartment itself is not bad, but the host’s behavior is unreliable, unprofessional, and based on false statements. Due to the stress, poor communication, and handling of payments, I cannot recommend this accommodation.
