Alpine Chalet - views, fire-pit, central, cosy

A lovely little chalet, beautifully laid out in a great location. Very comfortable and sunny with great outdoor spaces. We'll stay again!

The location was ideal – just a few minutes’ drive into town, yet tucked away in a peaceful neighbourhood that was easy to find. The accommodation itself was spotless and well-equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable week-long stay. The heat pump kept the place warm and cosy during the chillier days, and the underfloor heating in the bathroom was a luxurious touch that made mornings extra pleasant. The outdoor spaces were just as enjoyable – the deck caught the afternoon sun perfectly, making it a great spot to unwind with a drink, while the firepit added a fun and element to the evenings.

If you’re not fussed about smaller spaces, the bedrooms do the job just fine, but they are on the compact side and can feel a little tight to move around in. The mattress sits directly on the floor, which makes it feel quite firm and may not be the most comfortable option for everyone. The Wi-Fi was also a bit hit and miss. It worked well enough for casual phone use and general browsing, but when it came to streaming on the TV, buffering was a frequent issue.
