1 B1B lake cabin/walk to lake/Boulder bay park

Rustic and charming, with a lot of potential, but ..

o Cabin had not been cleaned, despite the owner texting about talking to the cleaning service. o I had to clean the toilet time myself. o Only one bath towel and one hand towel for length of stay (despite the owner saying more would be coming. o No door (or curtain) on shower, so I used our one bath towel to mop up the floor (after my wife and myself had used it for drying off).

I liked how cozy they made it feel. Nice Quiet place to relax and forget about the city.

There are multiple things i didn’t like. 1. Cleanliness. When me and my wife checked in we immediately noticed the garbage was not taken out. Popeyes in the microwave. A diaper in the bathroom trashcan. Like they cleaned the place in a rush 2. The Place was poorly build/rushed. Parking job was atrocious for my wife’s car(Honda Accord). Every time we had to enter/exit the property we had to guide each the other person on how to maneuver the vehicle to the point where we actually scraped the rear bumper. Unless you have a lot of clearance for the parking i’d look somewhere else. Steps leading up to the actual cabin were terrible. felt like i was going to trip every step. Got splinters in my feet from walking around the cabin. the Railing upstairs left gaps and one of them were actually broken going up there. Was a nightmare for me and my partner. 3. Mice. For a pet friendly area, they take it a bit too literal. I can’t tell you how many times I encountered a mouse just chilling on the sink or stairs to the bedroom. I had to stop my dogs a few times from chasing after it and causing property damage.

It was such a nice vintage big bear cabin! I really enjoyed lighting a fire and being able to just relax. I love that surrounding the property was not a bunch of houses but mountain scenery.

It was very cozy and clean. We loved the fact the TV actually worked. We would definitely book again. The pricing was what I was expecting to pay.

I was not happy with the shower facilities and linen. There needs to be more towels. The one washcloth that was there was used and left in the shower. Also on the outside around the cabin, there seemed to be at least two places where someone had small fires at one time.
