Gorgeous 6-bedroom house with private pool

The house was very spacious and clean.

The house was missing basic things like wash cloths, only one trash bag and one roll of tissue. Also the extra cost for the heating of the pool daily was extreme and the communication on that was unclear, but other then that my family really enjoyed themselves.

Superficially cleaned; kitchen chairs need changing, they wobble and have lost the cushion so you sit on nothing. Outdoor furniture cushions need a clean. No property info given so we had no clue about BBQ and how to get into the waterpark. Water pressure is hopeless and takes ages to heat up so has to be run for at least five minutes. Security was exceptional.

The location and the beds were the only good things about the property.

This is a true and honest review of this property. Do not be mis-led by the photos, which were clearly taken some time ago. The property is in need of some TLC and general maintenance. I have taken photos/videos to ensure future renters are not mis-led in the same way we were. We had a very suspicious burglary during our stay, only US dollars were stollen, the burglars left English money and iPads/iPhones (very strange!). The Police informed us the property was not secure and showed us how the patio doors could be taken off the runners as there was no safety alarms or door bars. which is unusual for Florida rental properties. The Police also questioned why only the owner had access to the Ring doorbell system. The burglars seemed to know we were out and that they had plenty of time to go through the property to look for the cash as the property was not ransacked, in fact it was only when one of the guests realised her ID was out of her purse we checked and realised there had been a burglary. The property company didn’t respond to our voicemails about the break in until after I followed up with a call and email the following morning despite apparently having a 24 hour emergency number. We were told someone would follow up and let us know why no one responded… we are still waiting for a response! When Gabrielle did come the following day she was not able to help and had to go to Lowe’s to buy security bars and alarms which we had to help her fit temporarily. These measures were not adequate as they were not securely fitted on the doors. It was also only after we mentioned particular Florida State laws about door alarms leading on to pool areas that the above items were purchased. The shower curtains were mouldy and smelt horrible. One sun lounger was broken in half and cushions on both were heavily stained with mould & ripped. The dining chairs were also broken and stained. The pool are was disgusting and had clearly not been cleaned prior to our stay.

All TVs in the house (not just the living room tv) should have all streaming services downloaded. Couldn’t add any apps because of a code. My family was stuck watching the Olympics for 4 days straight. If the waterpark is included in the stay for free then the grill shouldn’t be an extra 110$ dollars, especially in a state where it rains everyday. The trash schedule should be posted somewhere in the house cause we missed it or came home during there route. Lastly this is just a suggestion, could you make the QR code into a card because that orange paper doesn’t scan after being folded up or when it’s constantly raining

Beautiful home. Would definitely recommend it.
