AVOID AVoid The worse place ever I stay !!

Nothing like pictures, all the bed was so old and uncomfortable, cleaning was zero , nothing was clean , the carpet specifically the stairs was super dirty smell of damp downstairs was so dirty Don’t waste your money on this house It was super hot very noisy it looks like your sleep in a middle of the road Nothing was clean in the house if they give me free u won’t stay here

"Very unhappy"

House had drive so easy to park.

Everything, the house has issues, staff didnt respond to calls or messages for hours. Check in was 3pm but cleaners were still on site for over 40 minutes after we arrived, electricity kept tripping every 10 to 30 minuites, waiting for engineer to arrive to confirm there was a bad leak in the boiler and thats possibly what's caused the issue with the electric. Walls are wet from the leak and light switches on both walls where the leak is. Caused alot of anxiety and stress, we didnt feel it was safe to stay. Sat 90% of the time with no electricity at all. Left at 10.30pm

The kitchen had everything you needed. The shower was a good water pressure. The lounge had good facilities in terms of the TV, a comfy sofa and a table with enough room for everyone to sit. Parking right outside the address. I wouldn't choose to stay here again but it was okay for the fact we didn't spend much time at the actual property.

The general overlook of the property was a bit rough around the edges. The skirting boards were dirty and the paint needed a touch up. The location itself is surrounded by a few rough looking properties and the garden doesn't seem very secure. Also the garden could use some love and attention. The pictures of the property are slightly misleading as they were obviously taken when everything was fresh but it's looking a lot less fresh now. We took our dogs and had to pay £50 (should've been £100 but we got it reduced) for the extra cleaning which once we got there and realised it wasn't as luxurious as the photos suggested felt a bit ironic. They also take a £150 security deposit which I've never had before on here. Still waiting for it to be returned but I know it can take a few days. The beds were super soft which I didn't mind but our friends said they could feel the springs.

"Avoid!"

House was in a dirty condition and the smoke alarm was bleeping continuously indicating it was not working. Telephoned owners directly and advised we were leaving the property, provided photos requested a few hours later as soon as internet access was available. Left the property soon after arrival due to above issues and have been told we can’t get refund. I am a regular traveler and have never experienced such poor customer service. Unfortunately this review does not allow me to post the photos. I now have a copy of the response from the host to Booking.com, it reads:- “Hi …………… Thank you for reaching out. The property was thoroughly checked and inspected before the guests arrival and no issues were identified. Additionally, the guests did not report any problems during their stay. As a result, we are unable to provide a refund for this reservation”. Evidently our experience meets the hosts thorough inspection standard! The fact that the smoke alarm was bleeding continuously and the property was dirty seems to be of no issue While to state that we did not complain is totally untrue, had I been able to upload photos I could have provided a screenshot of my emails and telephone records. Beware the excuses the host provided for keeping my money! I have now added some photos to the property, note the state of the carpet etc.
