USUSTruly an awful mold/mildew smell. Contacted the host several times on it. They wrote back to the other question (unit was missing towels at check in) but did not answer my concerns on the smell.
USUSUSThe property was in a nice location of Houston were locals were seen happily walking their families and pets around their neighborhood. Appeared safe. Liked that the bed sheets appeared clean and bed was comfortable. Served its purpose for 1 overnight stay.
The outside property didn’t look as nicely upkept as the surrounding properties. Outside damage could be seen where repairs might have been made but not finished (parking spot area). Inside: Renovations and attempts of cleanliness were apparent, but unrepaired items (walls, bathroom door trim, non working light in closet, broken handle in bathroom, broken glass in kitchen cabinet were pots stored) and attention to detailed cleanliness (end tables, light switches, remote) are needed. Could have used a hand towel for drying hands. Could have used a flat surface (chair or table) in bedroom or closet for bags/suitcases to sit on.
