A well located warm apartment with lift and easy parking.

The beds are very small and low. No extras in the kitchen and poorly equipped. Maintenance outstanding - iron, plug sockets, washer door. Poor value at E375 for 3 days. The handover ! Roads closed, key holder would not come to meet, eventually met and took ourselves to the wrong apartment ( they took a Canadian couple to our apartment ) - upon meeting the key holders it was clear that their priority was a long lunch rather than customer service. It took 1 hour and 25 mins from arriving in Avila to getting in the apartment. I would have witheld their fee and returned to the customer.

We were surprised that there are so many rooms in the apartment (2 bedrooms, one dininng room, 2 bathrooms, separated kitchen)! Being there we could feel like staying at home. The apartment is very well equiped, the window view is excellent and you cannot hear any noise from the street (there were road works on our arrival day and I was a bit nervous about that, but we did not hear anything from the flat). A real pity that we could not stay longer. Both Avila and this accommodation is worth much longer visit that just 2 days!

In my opinion the way to cover in bed was strange, but maybe this is the local custom? There was a kind of bedsheet and a duvet without a duvetcase put on it. I did not feel comfortable to use that duvet, as most probably other tourists were using it directly. Duvetcase makes me sure I cover with something clean and prepared especially for me.

Just in the centre of Avila. Location could not be better. Very clean, modern and comfortable. The hosts were very helpful, sent recommendations for restaurants and helped us finding the place.
