VINTAGE HOUSE (4min from the port on foot)

The perfect stay! This lovely, large, traditional house was beyond perfect for our families stay in beautiful Skopolos. The host was very kind and communicative. The house itself was sparkling clean and had everything you could want or need. Three full bedrooms made it such a gem for our large group. It is located in the absolute perfect location, just a few minutes walk from the port, but also just far enough into the charming village that you feel like you are a part of the real neighborhood and no longer a tourist. We spent every morning and evening on the beyond charming tiny terrace overlooking the sea and the sunrise/sunset, watching parents walk their children to school singing down the street, the elders coming up the cobblestone pathways slowly with their evening groceries. It was magical to hear the church bells ringing out with the seagulls wheeling overhead. So happy picked this special home. Thank you.

It was all perfect for us

The location. Close to port and restaurants.

Vintage means that everything inside the house is old…appliences, kitchen furniture, smell of the closets.

Location, quiet and close to everything,beautiful surroundings and spotless clean.

This property I think was the best property we could choose in the whole island ! It was really value for money. It was next to the center of the island in a traditional neighborhood. The house was spacious and really clean.

There was not something negative.

The location was exactly as described being 4 minutes walk to the port and bus stops to the beaches with no steep climbs or steps. It was perfectly situated for all the restaurants and bars, in particular the fantastic laid back bar Mercurius only 2 minutes away. The house was quirky with a lot of character. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms were clean and functional and the air conditioning worked well. Alexandra was incredibly friendly and helpful in every way, from organising a taxi, to recommending restaurants and beaches and and was quick to respond to any questions.

There was nothing that we didn't like. One small problem with a broken plug in the bathroom sink was dealt with immediately by Alexandra.

Beautiful old house in a quiet corner but still very close to the tourist area. Alexandra has been very helpful. She has sent pictures to make it easy to find the house. Be aware of the stairs in the house. Nothing for people with walking problems. Very comfortable bed. At midday (34 degrees)the aircon was a relief. The rest of the day the old stone house provides reasonable temperatures.

The roof terrace is only accessible through a narrow spiral staircase. No shade there during daytime. I used the balcony instead.

The house is In a perfect location in Skopelos town—close to port, buses, restaurants, grocery store etc. House is spacious, has two bathrooms and AC in two main bedrooms. WiFi works fine. Kitchen is well equipped. The rooftop terrace is a bonus to have a nice dinner with a view. Surprisingly quite street at night. Alexandra is an excellent and helpful host!

Nothing to take away. All was fine. Comfortable, cozy house.
