The property was in a good location and well-connected. The apartment was big and had a nice balcony.

The AC did not work well, and the cleanliness was poor. Not to mention, there was an unsanitary leak in the bathroom's ceiling, and the staff did not help to resolve the matter. This really disrupted our use of the only bathroom, as it required mopping constantly and felt unclean when using it.

The host allowed us an early check-in and met us at the gate, took us into the apartment and answered any questions we had. The apartment was spacious. The building and communal areas are very clean and well maintained. The gardens and pool area were maintained regularly during our 10 day stay. We felt very safe and secure inside the accommodation, it's a gated complex with another locked gate to access the building. The pool looked lovely although it was February and too cold to use it. The location was central for many nice bars and restaurants, and about 15 minutes walk downhill to the marina.

Our first impression of the apartment was the funny smell, although everything was clean it smelled odd. Some of the cutlery and crockery hadn't been washed up properly. We were a little surprised at the 300 euros damages bond, although when we checked the listing we found it had been mentioned, so be prepared. It was refunded the day after we left. The decor of the apartment was tired, and all the curtains were ill fitting and got stuck when opening and closing. The property is located in a residential area, on a steep hill. When we returned from the sea front at night it felt a little intimidating. Our main disappointment was that the terrace had no sunshine at all during our stay. No matter what time of day, the sun never shone onto the terrace, meaning that it was quite chilly, forcing us to go out to feel any sunshine, leading to not the pleasant stay we'd hoped for. This isn't the host's fault, but did spoil our stay.

Apartment was clean and spacious equipped with all facilities and utensils, pool & garden area clean, gated complex, supermarket's chemist, pubs and restaurants & public transport(buses) within a 5 minute walk the marina about 10 minutes walk away. Downhill to the marina and uphill to the apartment.

The one thing that marred the 4 night stay for us was the rental company that looks after this apartment their communication was appalling. I tried calling and texting but no one answered my calls or replied to my texts. On arrival we were left standing outside the gated complex for over an hour with no call or text to let us know when we would be able to enter the apartment. Also after the agent eventually turned up the key for the door was faulty and took a while to gain entry to the property, the agent gave us her number if we had any problems to call her, later that afternoon we had problems with the tv heating and wifi and called and texted her and once again she never called back or replied to our texts for the duration of our stay. This is not acceptable needless to say I wouldn't stay at this property again due to above reasons. No reflection on the property itself.

Cleanliness and kindness of staff

Location. Spacious apartment.

The only one constructive comment I’d like to make is that two bath towels per person would be suggested rather than one. The key for the gate to the gated property needs changed it does not open sometimes.
