My place in Cotillo 6

It was perfect, it was clean and everything you need is there and 2 minutes to the beach. The host was so friendly and prepard everything for our two Kids.

Communication was good and neither getting the key nor leaving the apartment presented any problems.. The location was good. We worried about being so close to a rooftop bar, but it didn't seem to open, even though it was a Saturday night. We only stayed one night, so didn't get to use the place much, but there was a "proper" kitchen, a washing machine, and loads of outside areas -- on all 3 floors. The place was very clean. And my husband actually got the TV to work with no problems -- that's a first in a holiday apartment :) .

We didn't realise the apartment was on 3 floors, if not 4. We reserved because my husband has limited mobility, only 2-level apartments were free for our last-minute El Cotillo booking, and this apartment had two bathrooms -- we assumed bedroom level and lounge level. In fact, the ground floor is a living area (lounge-diner-kitchen) with patios front and back -- but no bathroom. This caused him some problems. It seems that far more attention has been spent on prettying up the place than on practicalities. Some people like knick-knacks everywhere, I know, but it really was over the top, in our opinion. I can't imagine they are all cleaned regularly. On the other hand, there were no scissors, no corkscrew, no bottle opener... Also, there was no information on the whereabouts of rubbish and recycling bins -- we never did find them. I'm sure non-local tourists would have appreciated information on local doctors, chemists etc too.
