The entrance is not across from Publix. It's across the street from an abandoned downtown office building, but they do not want to tell you that. You must download the Latch app for this property. They sent the instructions while I was in transit. My iPhone triggered a one-hour theft protection lock downloading the app. I was locked out of my phone downtown at 8 PM trying to get into a building for which I had no key. Thankfully, it's a part of town the police do not patrol. I tried calling but the service rep. only repeated the instructions and transferred me to another service. They tried repeating the same instructions, then said they would call me back. They never did. When I finally got into the building, the apartment was at the end of a long creepy claustrophobic hallway. It made no sense for the hallway to be that narrow, but that's just a theme of the building. When I finally got into the apartment, it was nice and clean. You walk into the bedroom, which feels awkward as you are sleeping next to a public hallway door in a building with walls and a ceiling slightly thicker than Japanese shoji doors. If you snore, people in the hallway will know. If you're otherwise engaged, people will know. The living/dining/kitchen is furniture like an interior decor catalog. It's visually appealing but impractical. The couch is six feet from the mounted TV so you are looking 60º at a screen a few feet away. The balcony is nice. You can even slide through to the neighbor's balcony.
