MC Bunaken Stay Diving Trip's

The location was right on the beach with nice views. The dining area was really lovely to sit and chill out in the evenings. The food was really good and catered to vegan/vegetarian. The staff were friendly. Lots to do from the accommodation- tours, diving, snorkelling. Really good quality diving boats too.

The bathroom hadn't been cleaned on our arrival and had a strange smell. The beds were a bit uncomfortable to sleep in and walls were thin, so could hear lots of passing noise. There was a church next door which would have someone talking through a microphone at 4am EVERY morning. We left on a Sunday, so no public ferry. Us and another couple organised to get a private boat back to Manado. The staff told us there was a ferry running at 14.30 due to public holiday. They told us the cost was 50,000RP pp and told us to pay through the hotel, so we all chose that option instead. We got on the ferry and were yelled at by locals for boarding a FREE ferry for locals only that they had fought the government to get, and that tourists are required to get private boats on Sundays. We explained to the locals that we did pay for this ferry and was told by the hotel we could use it. The locals told us that the ferry was FREE and that the hotel took our money and scammed us. If we had known, we would've got a private boat as originally planned.

Das Personal war so freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich war krank und sie haben mir sofort Ibus geholt und wollten nicht mal mehr Geld dafür haben. Das Essen ist auch wirklich sehr sehr gut und richtig viel und sehr abwechslungsreich:)

Nichts zu bemängeln

Ottimo staff, escursioni molto valide, cibo molto buono, posizione molto comoda, piscina carina, disponibili anche per aiutarci nei trasporti. Vedendo le altre strutture dell'isola, davvero molto spartane, MC è davvero una delle migliori in assoluto.

Camere troppo basiche, condizionatore rumoroso e con telecomando condiviso con altra stanza, niente oscuranti alle finestre, niente acqua calda e lavandino minuscolo. Piccoli accorgimenti che lo renderebbero un soggiorno perfetto.

The room is basic but clean. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, nice dive equipment, and not to forget tasty food.

Das Essen war mittags und Abends hervorragend! Es gab immer frischen Fisch, Obst, alles schien frisch gekocht war reichlich und hat ausgesprochen lecker geschmeckt! Weil ich keine Pancakes zum Frühstück wollte, haben sie mir Eier gemacht- Sonderwünsche z. B. ein zweites Laken oder ein weiteres Handtuch waren kein Problem. Es gibt durchgängig kostenlos frisches Trinkwasser und Kaffee. Außerdem waren alle extrem freundlich! Die Riffe sind zum Schnorcheln und tauchen wunderschön.

Es heißt ja immer, kalt Duschen sei gesund, aber eine warme Dusche ist schon nicht schlecht. Die gab es leider nicht, war aber auch so angeboten. Außerdem war die AC schlecht einzustellen, wir kamen jedenfalls nicht damit zurecht. Sie hat uns die ganze Nacht kalt angepustet und uns schlecht schlafen lassen. Es gibt ein gewaltiges Müllproblem. Die Strände sind voll davon, wo sie nicht gesäubert werden, ist es eine einzige Katastrophe. Leider sieht es im Meer oftmals nicht besser aus, was angesichts der Tatsache, dass dies ein geschütztes Gebiet ist, noch schwerer wiegt. Im Hotel selber ist davon nichts und auf dem Strand davor wenig zu merken. Alles in allem ist Bunaken auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert. Man wird extrem entschleunigt 🤗
