It was quite pleasant stay at the Motel 6.
Being a Baltimore native i know what Baltimore is like and i must say i was pleasantly surprised.
It's pretty good for the price. Nice little hotel to book if you need somewhere to stay for a night or 2 without spending hundreds. Staff have been friendly so far! Allowed me to book another night without hassle after I slept passed check out time. They put my deposit towards the next night, which made it easy, too. There’s also an ATM right where you check in so yo can pull out money for deposit. Rooms are simple one bed, end tables, round table for eating or whatever it may be, small area for clothes, nice ac, good tv options, small simple bathroom. There may be damages which is expected in the area and at cheaper hotels but the hotel is clean which I believe is what matters most.
When they say “you get what you pay for “, this place takes it to heart. Definitely the local hotel where the addicts and prostitutes go and I watched about 5 tricks and deals go down. If you just need one night to sleep off a night out, it suffices but definitely try to find the next lower hotel and bring one of those portable door locks with you.
I used hotels.com to book my room and at check in I was told I was the first two book a room this was. It took almost 2 hours and me having to use my own cell phone to relay messages between hotel.com and Motel 6 to get checked in. There was no lobby. I was forced to sit on the side of a curb, waiting between customers. It was absolutely horrific.
I know motel 6 is cheap, and I should expect too much. But this is really the worst motel 6 I have stayed ever! There were hardly any supplies in the room, the beddings didn't seem to be clean and there were holes on the sheets. There were not enough towels to use, and the room had some kind of smell, and the staff were not friendly. On top of all those, a $100 deposit were required which is strange. I definitely do not recommend it!
The staff was of the most disrespectful plus on top of that this low grade motel require's you to pay an $100 deposit when I have stayed at many 5 star hotels and they didn't require an deposit at all! It's really not worth it! This motel should be closed down!
Location was great. Plenty of free parking 2 miles from the Harbor. We walked to the Marina in 40 mins, and it was just a $15 cab ride home. The room itself was not so great. Not filthy, but not really clean either. The barely worked. It was a place to crash close to the harbor at a fraction of the price of the other options.
Horrible I will not recommended this motel to anyone
