Extremely accommodating family running Casal do Conde rendering excellent service. They cared for us like we were their family. We came wet and tired. They dried our cloths and also our shoes. Their breakfast was a five star one

El sitio es un encato, el alojamiento una verdadera maravilla, el entorno, la tranquilidad, las habitaciones, el desayuno increible, y los propietarios son increibles, es un gusto que puedan existir lugares y personas así.

We booked last minute, and were THRILLED with the decision to. The host couldn't have been more thoughtful, and the space couldn't have been more beautiful. We stayed here on night 3 of our Camino (note that it's slightly south of Calda de Reis, so it'll make a shorter arrival day, longer departure day) and boy did we need the rest here. The rooms were SO comfortable, we slept the best here of our entire trip. Incredibly well appointed spaces and thoughtful touches. A/C in every room, diffusers in the bathroom, TVs in each bedroom. It's worth noting they have a great washing machine on-site that felt like the first deep clean we'd been able to get after a few hostel stays. We enjoyed sitting by the very clean and stunning pool. During the afternoon of our stay, we were enjoying some fruit on the terrace, when the host brought by an unprompted plate of jamon and bread. Then, a few minutes later, two cervezas. He also offered to drive us into Calda de Reis for dinner that night! We ended up just eating a pilgrim at the Alburgues around the block because we needed an early night, but the hospitality can't be beat. (Note that there is very little nearby as far as options for food, since you're in a very small town.) The breakfast was incredible the next morning. Fresh jams, cut meat and cheeses, fruit, incredible espresso, great tea selection, fresh juices. We loved getting to walk through Calda de Reis at sunrise the next day. Please note that you will need to speak Spanish with the host here. He was incredibly patient with our broken Spanish, and we made good use of Google Translate's conversation feature. You're in Spain after all! It's the least us guests can do to show respect to our hosts by embracing their language. It's a great chance to practice the language :)
