I was disappointed with this place as I really felt it over sold itself and was too expensive for the quality. I had stayed in many places in the island which were much better and cheaper. The bed was upstairs in a loft room with no windows, it was very difficult for access to toilet at night and the pool is not really a pool but rather a dipping tub, there is no food available on the premises after breakfast and due to the location it is a good half hour walk on a busy road to the nearest restaurant. I only stayed one of the three nights I had booked for and moved even though I had paid.

You get what you pay. They dont mention that there is an open space with a small mattress on the floor. Positive thing: Free coffee + big parking space.

Small mattress on the floor with a plastic cover which it is uncomfortable. Only one toilet for tons of people. The shower is almost open, so you dont have privacy. It doesnt have hot water and in rainy days it is a little bit cold to take a shower.

It was a wonderful stay with very comfortable bed and clean room. The staff are very kind. Hope to stay again in the future.

Really cute property, the garden with small pool was beautiful. We stayed in one of the ‘loft’ style rooms which was lovely, great air con and fan and good use of the space, would recommend! The staff were also great, we had a small problem with our room which wasn’t their fault, but they quickly helped us out.

The property isn’t really walkable to any shops or restaurants, but it wasn’t particularly a problem for us as it is fairly close to the pier where there are amenities (restaurants, cafe’s, laundry etc.) and importantly bike rental - which is a must to explore the magic of Siquijor!

Note that my review is specifically for the open air dorm with mattresses on the floors. At the time when I made the booking there were no reviews specific to that room type, and it seems people enjoyed the other types of rooms much more. When it said "dorm" at the time of booking, I didn't know the room would be in an open air loft and expected a room(!) with bunk beds. The open air setup created a few problems: -BUGS. Not just bugs flying around which they provided insect repellent lotion for, but bugs on the mattresses, on the beds. You brush them away, new ones come. On and on. They looked mostly like flying ants, but not only. I really don't want to sit or sleep on the bed with bugs crawling around me, and there didnt seem to be a good solution. The staff said the bugs would go away after we turn off the light (and there were less of them then), but still far too many for my comfort -Noise. Because of open air setup, every sound is audible - chats, karaoke from some place nearby, some other guests playing their own music in the garden. There was no way to shut it out and earplugs weren't enough. I had to go and ask people to be quiet or stop their music several times -There was only 1 bathroom+toilet (joint facility), seemingly for all guests in dorms+ those staying in tents (of which there were plenty). This is really not enough, and made for many queues It ended up one of the worst-sleep nights in more than a year of travelling...

Refreshingly different kind of budget hostel. I absolutely loved it. Colourful, well maintained gardens with tents. I slept in the the open-air dorm which was very atmospheric and a fun experience, much nicer than a stuffy closed dorm. Very friendly staff, always cleaning. Great bakery shop just down the road in the opposite side to the the hostel. Very convenient location if arriving late un Siquijor. You'll want a motorbike for exploring the island, 350 peso standard rate.

Needs another restroom, hopefully they will be able to put another one in as the business expands.
