Not criticism, just observation that you might want to have a look at: the one curtain in the bedroom is damaged, it seems that part of the rufflette is separated from the curtain, so it doesn’t look very good. The usb ports on the adapter in the lounge does not work.

The communication was excellent. We received all the check-in details on the day of arrival, along with a separate message offering early check-in, which we really appreciated. On the day of check-out, we were also offered a later check-out if needed. When the power went out, we were immediately informed about the outage — that was very reassuring. The shower stayed hot even with no power the next morning, which was great. The extra ice in the freezer was a thoughtful touch.

The kitchen and bedroom being in separate buildings was a minor inconvenience, as we didn’t realise beforehand that we would need to go outside to move between them, even though they are next to each other. The kitchen was missing a few basics — there was only one sharp knife and no bread knife, no sugar, only one rooibos tea bag and one Five Roses tea bag, and while there were salt, pepper, and spice containers, they were empty. The building could also use some maintenance and fresh paint.

Es war an alles gedacht was der Reisende wirklich braucht. Für Trinkwasser war gesorgt. Die Räume waren großzügig und gut eingerichtet. Die Betten waren komfortabel.

Bedroom could be a bit bigger

Exceptional property! As an 8-sleeper it comfortably accommodated our extended family with room to spare. The house is stocked with absolutely everything one could require to make your stay comfortable, ample crockery and cutlery, braai facilities, and thoughtful extras throughout. Cleanliness and comfort were impeccable. A truly memorable stay and undoubtedly the best-equipped rental we have experienced. Highly recommended.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

I loved that the space was a decent size for a quick family get away. The location was perfect and there were very nice amenities added to the property that we were able to enjoy such as the heater for the chilly nights, Netflix to entertain the kid and the games for family bonding time.
