Offa's Dyke Lodge B&B

Great quiet location. My room was absolutely faultless, very comfortable, clean, great size and a well appointed bathroom. Adrian and Viv are great hosts and serve a lovely breakfast.

Very kind owners who give you a warm welcome and interesting tips to discover the area. It was unfortunately a short stay but we will certainly remember. The Hergest Ridge walk nearby is amazing.

The family service, friendliness, cleanliness, location, very high standard.

One suggestion - small longlife individual pods of milk for tea and coffee in room, so that we didn’t need to bother Viv or Adrian for milk. Also keeps longer.

Rooms were modern and spacious. Nice views from the bedroom. Able to sit outside with patio door from bedroom.

Vivienne and Adrian, you are more than gracious hosts! You are proud of what you do, and take immense pride in (and put in loads of love into) giving guests like me and my son an unforgettable experience at the loveliest spot on Earth—Hergest (pronounced "Har-Guest") Ridge. I wonder if Mike Oldfield had you in mind when he composed his unforgettable record of the same name. All that being said, I can only repeat what others have said here—comfortable, clean, spacious rooming. Ample, delicious breakfast, and a personable greeting and care. What exceeds even these superlatives is the invaluable insights you gave on the BEST gateway to experience Hergest Ridge. Yes! I found the Whetstone AND the Monkey Puzzle trees, both of which are havens of peace and direct portals to Otherworld. Please, please, please, continue doing what you love and loving others with the exquisite grace you do. You made this the trip of a lifetime for me and my son. Thank you! <3 <3 <3

Nothing, except to stay there forever!

I have stayed in a lot of different B&B accommodation over the years - and this was, quite simply, the best. The owners were exceptionally welcoming, pleasant and helpful - really nice people. The room and private bathroom were extremely well-appointed and spotless. Lovely garden, and my room (and all of them, I think) had an outside door to a decking patio with table and chairs - a delight in the last of the evening sun and in the morning sun. I was able to arrange to arrive later than the usual check-in time; and was even offered the chance to use the swimming pool when I arrived in the evening (sadly, I didn't have time). The cooked breakfast was delicious and plentiful. If I ever need/want to stay in this area again, Offa's Dyke Lodge B&B will be my first choice ... and I'll be pretty sad if they don't have room.

Really - genuinely - nothing to critcise. I wish my schedule had allowed me to stay for a few more days.
