Minty Stay - San Luis

location was excellent.

Road outside was noisy with traffic especially the first 2 nights as it was festival time.We did get used to the traffic noise

The bed felt very unstable. I wouldnt want to lay in it with 2 people.

The host was lovely and made us feel very welcome. He also provided us with recommendations for nearby activities, and how to spend our time in Seville. The kitchenette is practical, clean and modern. Sufficient storage, plentiful freezer and fridge space, and utensils provided. The bathroom also had storage, a bidet, and a light up mirror which is perfect for makeup and skincare.

The toaster only toasts the bottom side of the bread and burns it. We used it several times but couldn't manage a single piece of bread that wasn't charred. Though the windows are pretty and traditional, they provide 0 soundproofing. Every sound in the streets leaked through. The apartment had a strong, strange sewage smell which we suspect came from the AC. Almost all of the towels provided had black stains on them. The main bed seemed very flimsy and moved with every turn/movement, and the sofa bed rattled and clanked if you sat in the wrong place. Also, we found the light switch in the living room next to the photos completely detached from the wall and doesn't work.

The noise from outside in the middle of the night .There was no windows to prevent all the noise from outside.

Everything. Efficient and polite staff meet and greet, prompt whatsapp comms. The apartment is very cosy and comfortable, bathroom immaculate, kitchenette neat and well equipped. Everything you need is provided. Bedroom is small but pleasant, sofabed in the lounge adequate.

Not a dislike, but worth knowing about in advance: Street sounds, voices and traffic are very noticeable from about 08.00 until about 22.00, as the windows and shutters are original, not double glazed. The apartment is on the first floor overlooking a single lane cobbled street. However, Seville being such a fabulous vibrant old city, we found this to be part of the immersive experience.

Appartment has all supplies needed for a couple of days, everything brand new and very clean. Location is convenient, most sights and attractions within 30 min walking distance. Plenty of stores, bars and restaurants in the immediate area.

Bed is quite small. The windows are absolutely not soundproof whatsoever. The doors (with single glass) do not completely close on some points, which makes all sounds from the very busy street (from 6.30 am till 2.00 am) cannot be ignored at all, and doesn't provide resting time during our stay. Loud talking, cars and trucks passing by, and singing at night sounds as if those passing in the street are in your bedroom. If you don't mind that, it's the perfect appartment for you. For us, it was absolutely not. When contacting the property owners, they gave evasive answers several times and didn't provide any solution.
