Alatea Porta Nuova 20

I like everything about this apartment and I used the local city bus # 11,12,13 (maybe there are other ones too) to get there from the train station because it is located by the Viale Verde bus stop (unmarked but a major bus stop). See photo attached. A few expensive but very good restaurants/bars nearby. Without any luggage I easily walked back and forth to the train station everyday to train to nearby cities and yet it is just 300 meter (990 ft) away from Verona’s iconic double arched entry gate by the arena. The hosts have created a great place to stay as they have thought of everything that guests may need.

I wished it came with a limousine service :-), because there is never enough taxi available at the train station, you really have to race getting out of the train to get a taxi. I never had enough luck/speed to get a taxi so I had to use the bus or walk to the apartment but I am thankful for the conveniently nearby Viale Val Verde bus stop (3rd or 4th stop from the train station). No UBER or BOLT, or FREENOW taxi app available in Verona.
