TRThe apartment is well decorated, in a beautiful historical building and in an excellent location to explore the city. Exactly like in the photos. And extremely safe, maybe safer than a bank vault. I loved the apartment, and I wish I could have stayed longer but my personal physical condition didn't match with the apartments offerings. The host Laura has been very helpful to relocate me.
The AC doesn't seem to meet the needs against August summer heat wave, and I can't say that bed was on the comfortable side. And I have to mention that I am quite sensitive to heat. If these two were in place I could have stayed there forever.
GBThe apartment is beautiful, just like the photos. Alessandro was a brilliant host and answered our questions so quickly and helpfully. He also brought us a travel cot which was really helpful. It's a great location near lots of lovely restaurants and an easy walk to the main square and train station.
We were travelling with a 3 year old and 1 year old and think the apartment is much more suited to a couple/friends rather than a young family. There is no lift in the building and over 50 steps to climb - most of them stone so it wasn't ideal with young children. It's a very safe apartment but for that you have 4 doors to pass through, some with tricky locks so it was difficult with kids. It was noisy at night because of the bars and restaurants outside - again, I don't think we'd have minded this if we weren't travelling with children. It would have been helpful to have wine glasses, cereal bowls and a cork screw.
