Location was good.

After booking, the property told us that there was an optional 10 euros charge per person for bedding and towels, something that was not at all clear from the listing before booking and that I believe is a preposterous demand, especially for a one night stay as ours. We managed to avoid the extra charge as we were not travelling from far away and were able to pack our own bedding and towels, but international visitors are unlikely to be able to do so. Therefore, be warned, before booking, of this hidden cost. Moreover, the agency managing the property, which is called Sotto Costa, deals with many more flats in the area and applies the same conditions, so be careful before booking. The property also lacked other amenities as shower gel, bath mats, etc. Finally, the property threatens to charge ridiculous fines for things like delay in checking out (20 euros for half an hours, 50 for an hour) or failing to sort the rubbish correctly (100 euros), despite the fact that no clear indications were given on how the rubbish should be sorted. We weren’t ‘fined’ on any account, but the general feeling is that of a company looking to squeeze as much extra money as possible from a visitor in ‘optional charges’ and ‘fines’. I’d avoid at all costs.
