Close to the harbour. Friendly staff, affordable accomodation

The staff is really sweet, friendly and helpful! The couple living there just had an adorable baby girl. The location is great in a quiet neighborhood, a bit away from the noise and bustling of the main road.

Unfortunately, I can't say the place is really nice. Keep in mind that on Gili T budget accomodations are not really budget and not great value. So, what is not great : walls are clogging everywhere from humidity, expect everything to be rusty and moldy. You will also have a few well sized cockroaches as roomates. Room was clearly not cleaned before I arrived (lots of trash under the bed, dirty sink). I also had problems with the flush, the AC and the light bulb that didn't work so that's a lot. But on these the staff was very prompt to fix the problems so that's fine. Outside, there is trash in the garden, plastics, even on the guests terraces. The building is still under construction (roof not finished). I stayed a week and there was no cleaning of the room whatsoever. All in all, you can find better in Gili T. I'm not giving 6 because of the nice staff and it's a local homestay.
