Lakshmi Mahal - V Inn

My stay at V-Inn was nothing short of exceptional, offering a perfect blend of comfort and spiritual serenity. The hotel’s proximity to the iconic Kamalalayam pond and view directly facing Thiruvarur Thyagaraja Temple was a highlight, allowing me to immerse myself in the divine atmosphere of the temple. The rhythmic chanting of sacred slogans from the temple filled the air, creating an uplifting and tranquil vibe that resonated deeply, transcending all boundaries of faith. As someone from the Muslim community, I found the spiritual energy truly inclusive and rejuvenating.

While my stay at V-Inn was largely wonderful, there are a couple of areas that could be improved to enhance the guest experience. The hotel’s marriage and function hall is a great feature, but it seems to impact parking availability. On a few occasions, I noticed that the parking area was quite crowded, likely due to vehicles from wedding guests, making it challenging to find a spot. Additionally, the parking area itself is unpaved, and during recent rainfall, this led to muddy conditions. As a result, guests had to walk through the mud, which caused sandals and shoes to get dirty and it carry mud to the hotel rooms. These are minor inconveniences in an otherwise delightful stay, but addressing the parking management and paving the parking area would make a significant difference for future guest

Neat clean rooms and helpful and welcoming staff. Excellent location.

Food was a challenge. As we had to look for good, hygienic vegetarian restaurants nearby . It was a challenge. In-house food facilities will be helpful for the guests.

Very good location overlooking some of the main temples close to restaurants, shops, markets, etc. Large, comfortable room, with modern bathroom and strong wifi.

Minimal service: no soap, no drinking glass, kettle, tea or coffee. No top sheet: only a thin blanket that may or may not be cleaned after each guest. The bathroom needed a good clean. Overall this hotel is way overpriced for what it offers.

Rates are 12-2pm even in non peak season.

Being situated very near the Temple and the Kamallayam Tank makes it a wondeful place to stay and enjoy the Divine bliss.

Parking space needs improvement.
