Beautifully decorated and very well equipped with everything you need. Lots of storage space. Nice pool area with loungers. Easy walk into old town or the port (bit of an uphill walk back but very easy to order an uber/Bolt. Great secure underground parking. Close to supermarkets. Quiet. Lovely terrace to sit out on.

No negatives whatsoever it’s lovely.

Space and quality of apartment

We are a multi-generational family of 7, the apartment was plenty big enough for us all to be comfortable. The apartment had all the amenities we required during our stay, it was nice to have internet available - especially for the kids when we weren't out and about! The town is walkable (20-25 mins) so a car isn't necessary but would recommend as needed if you would struggle with this length of walk - ie small kids, older guests.

Due to restrictions on water in the area at the time of our visit the outdoor pool was unusable - it was not being kept properly cleaned/filter and as a result we weren't able to use it - with 3 kids who love to be in the pool all day this was one of our primary reasons for choosing this location. If you intend on using the pool I would check its availability prior to confirming/paying for your reservation.

The apartment is on a hill in Estepona, about 10-15 minutes walk down hill to the old town, beach promenade and the nearest grocery store. The apartment is beautifully decorated, modern and light. The kitchen (and bathrooms) is very well equipped- I cooked Christmas lunch for 8 with a little bit of planning - not many rentals I’ve had before is as well equipped. I’d have liked a few extra tea towels to swop over (won’t cost a fortune)/ dishwasher and washing machine tablets and bin bags so I didn’t run out within 24 hrs. The terrace is beautifully decorated and we enjoyed many afternoons relaxing in the sun and breakfast out there. I didn’t mind the walk to town, and the parking was safe and secure. Super access to main travel routes from the apartment. The complex is clean, well maintained and peaceful.

There was a lot of building work going on in the area so the surrounding environment isn’t exactly aesthetic. The damage deposit (50% of the cost of my rental charge) is only returned after 30 days which seems a bit ridiculous, seeing that damage can be assessed within 48 hours of leaving the accommodation. I also think the property can benefit from electronic key mechanisms on arrival. I was told it would cost me euro 35 to have the physical keys delivered to the property and not picked up first from their office. Traveling with an 84 year old, I wasn’t up for multiple stops on check-in.

A modern contemporary apartment which was very comfortable.

Those that may be infirm may find the steep walk a challenge.
