New 4 BDR Villa Mejan

The property itself is a marvel of space and design. Each area, from the bedrooms to the open living area, is thoughtfully laid out, offering a sense of openness and freedom for my twin toddler boys to roam around.

My stay at the property came with its fair share of challenges. While I was pre-informed about the daytime construction work, the actual disturbance was minimal and manageable. However, the nights were a different story altogether. The incessant barking of the neighbor’s dogs and unexpected hammering sounds throughout the night significantly disrupted our sleep. Moreover, the cleanliness of the amenities provided left much to be desired. The baby cots, which was a necessity for us, unfortunately had a lingering smell of vomit, and the bedsheets bore visible stains. This oversight in hygiene was disappointing and certainly an area that needs immediate attention from the management. In essence, while the property did have its positives, these issues during my stay were notable detractors from the overall experience.

The property was beautiful and the rooms are spacious. This is a great property to stay with a group or family with older children/young adults. The location is great and it is easy to go to restaurants and shops.

We felt that the pool needed more chlorine as it was not clear. The staff added some once we requested it.

Cleanliness and responsiveness of staff could use improvement. There was no water in the villa for a long period of time

We were staying 2 families. Large outdoor area with pool and spaciuos living room was pleasure to be enjoyed with kids. Each of the 4 rooms had its own bathroom. Each equipped with hairdrier and shampoos. Although shower drainage could be better in general it was ok. Clean cold/hot water dispenser in the kitchen.

I have twice few months in advance about the construction going on next door. It should have been finished by september, then by november. To my big surprice middle of December we arrived in middle of construction site. Through the wall next door there clouds of dust from peeling concrete and little parcticles flight over. Due to high pitch sounds of chainsaw and hammers working it was barely possible to communicate outside. If you stay most of the time out and about this should not bother you as construction is nost active from 8:00 to 17:30. I went to speak to workers. Planned finish time is arround april. Not earlier. It can obviously be seen from the pictures so book at your own risk.

Rooms big & comfortable beds. Clean & modern.

Towel racks or hooks in bathrooms are needed as well as storage/drawers in bedrooms More outdoor seating - 8 guests only 3 sun beds and no outdoor seats. Not enough drinking glasses - need plastic to use outside and for kids.

The photos advertised for the place do not do it justice it’s so beautiful. Each room has its own key as well as bathroom for privacy so great if you are travelling with friends or family. The team are so helpful and respond quickly over booking/whatsapp. We even got massages and they were amazing too. People on past reviews complain about dogs and bugs but honestly it was not a problem at all, just keep doors shut and dogs only bark for a few minutes. Cleaners and pool maintenance people come everyday which is very nice.

Be warned you cannot flush toilet paper bidet only!!

Incredible location, walkable to lots of places to eat. Exceptional villa. Its like an oasis when you are inside. They have daily cleaning, soft lovely beds and everything you need for a comfortable stay.

I cant say there was anything. Everything was exceptional.

The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. It feels very safe and clean. Kitchen is well appointed and everything works well. Lots of space to relax and lots of seating options. Cleaners were very kind and happy to organise for washing to be completed at a very reasonable rate. Owner/manager easy to contact and prompt at replying Great Wi-Fi and entertainment options. Tv/sound system were great. Manager organized the rental of a pool fence for us for a very reasonable fee. This was installed prior to our arrival and was aesthetically pleasing. Beautiful gardens. Walking distance to great places. Fabulous restaurant down the lane overlooking rice fields if you turn right from the villa and walk about 300m down the hill

Lots of mosquitos from the open bathrooms and lavish gardens. Easily mitigated by keeping the internal doors closed. After asking we were given plug in mosquito repellent for the bedrooms, this worked well. Didn’t see anyone come to clean the pool until the day we left, pool was very heavily chlorinated. Great for bugs, not so great for swimwear.

Villa is really nice. Rooms are spacious and the staff is friendly. Very welcoming and helpful. The location is great. In a nice area, close to nice coffees, restaurants

The Villa is easily accessible through the roofless bathrooms, so you have to make sure to always lock the bathrooms doors and all the rooms before you leave and while you sleep. But this was highlighted by the staff as well. Safety first.
