Beachbach16 - Kakanui

This is a lovely traditional kiwi bach with a stunning view. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Sitting out on the deck in the morning and evening sunshine was wonderful.

Such a gorgeous little crib . We loved eveything! It was well maintained , exceptionally clean and just perfect for a weekend away. Everything was there that you needed . The bed was incredibly comfy and the views out to the beach from the kitchen just amazing. We loved that it exemplified what a crib use to be like before pople built big houses as a holiday home. We will definitely be back!!

Nothing..just gorgeous. I guess if it was wet it might be a little small if you were 2 x couple staying but perfect for 1 couple with children.

The location and the views are unbeatable. The communication with the host was very good, we had enough space and we really appreciated the washing machine (even without dryer).

The bed was a bit tight and it was a bit challenging as you have to take your trash with you and we did not know where to throw it. We ended up travelling half a day with the trash in our car

The location was superb and the views were stunning. The bach was small but utterly charming and homely. It was well equipped with everything we needed and the garden and deck were perfect for sitting out in the evening and watching the sun set. We were blessed with the weather. We found lots of beautiful paua shells washed up on the beach.

Great location, with superb views. Well equiped kitchen. Heat pump/aircon. Plenty of linen (e.g. spare towels). Bed comfortable. Owner kept in touch prior to visit, and was immediately contactable when I encountered a problem.

Lock box was set too low, making it awkward for an older person with bad hips and knees to view the code clearly. I had to phone the owner to find out how to use the electric oven due to a timer over-riding the operation (I suggest attaching instructions above appliance). (ps timers on stoves should be banned - just not necessary at all).
