金閣莊 private onsen by reservation for free

the location was good. sightseen was also very nice near from gora.

there was no break fast, very hard to travel with kids in such properties. Though the properties was satisfied the staff was very rude. I think in such properties only one staff to handle is crucial.

Nothing. Horrific stay

My experience was very bad in this hotel. Hotel was beyond bad. My room was dirty and the onsen had mosquitoes, hair, and leaves inside of it. Hotel owner was rude, condescending, and didn’t give me my luggage until I paid 3000 yen because I was 1 hour late to checkout. It was extortion. I’ve been in Tokyo and this has never happened to me at any other Japanese hotel

A very lovely place run by a very lovely, friendly and most of all hilarious guest! We had a great time. The place is very nice, the location was great and the view was wonderful. The host was extremely helpful and kind in accommodating our needs and scheduling the onsen. The onsen alone was great! If you are planning to stay in Hakone this place is a must. I hope to come back again :) thank you for having us!
