The Cliff Hotel & Spa

Air conditioned room in a heat wave was wonderful. The location is gorgeous. Very relaxing all round. Spa was great.

Duvet was lumpy, but staff happy to change it for next guests in cooler weather. Not needed by us as it was too hot during our stay.

Smiley helpful staff. Wonderful coastal location. Marvellous food. Relaxing spa. Very comfortable beds. Perfect all round.

Exceptionally hot spell, air conditioning through hotel but not all bedrooms, electric fan was provided.

Having visited the Cliff on several occasions standard always at an excellent level. Spa great very friendly staff helpful and happy to chat with us.

It was the hottest time of the year! We did have a small room no aircon fan was provided and we took our own also it was still very very hot 🥵 Duvet and pillows really need an upgrade although room spotlessly clean.

Room was amazing. Caring staff. Fantastic views. Food was out of this world. Spa was to die for we felt totally spoilt and relaxed after our stay. Will definitely be returning.

We have returned to the Cliff many times and have always found it perfect, perfect location, wonderful staff, excellent rooms, great value for money. We had a slight problem, our disabled parking space had our name clearly marked but someone had already parked in our space, we arrived at 15.00. No fault of the staff who are always exceptional. Thank you, it is the highlight of our retirement, returning to the Cliff. We were delighted with the Spa refurbishment, clearly well thought out and some excellent improvements without any unpleasant changes.

The views were exceptional. The spa was perfect, as were the treatments. The staff throughout the hotel and spa were extremely friendly and hospitable.

The gym needs a makeover. The equipment looked unkept and rusted. Very little space within.

Apart from the car park, which needs resurfacing. The location is amazing, fab views over the bay and spectacular sunsets, we stayed over the summer solstice weekend and the weather couldn’t have been better. Spa was well appointed and an hour a day included in the price was welcome. Restaurant was excellent and although busy not crowded.

Apart from a slight doggy smell in our room, this was sorted out quickly when we told the reception staff.

The location is fabulous, comfortable, with good facilities. Breakfast selection was good and staff really helpful. Our dinner server was excellent. We loved the spa, lovely facilities

The only thing was that we felt the evening meal wasn’t as good as previously. The tomato starter was fab but the mains were not the usual high standard. We had the ravioli which was running with butter and the brisket which was very large. A little more freshness would’ve been nice
