Nothing all good

There was no hot water in the main bedroom -bathroom. The toilet did not flush so we had to use the guest toilet, which there the light did not work. No hot water in the kitchen. The dishwasher in the kitchen was leaking so the scullery floor was flooded. Did report the problems Saturday morning, nothing was done.

Coming from 3 weeks camping in the bush in Botswana , this accommodation felt like heaven . The Sondela reserve has all amenities one can wish on site and the house is just amazing, extremely large and confortable (much better than on the pictures ) . It was the perfect stop on our last day of holidays before heading back to Joburg’s airport.

No internet connection is the only downside

Location fantastic, quiet, loved the braai boma area. Exceptional design of the home.

The house needs maintenance. Our ensuite door didn't close all the way, the shower door has no handle, 2 of the showers spray water out of the door so you and the floor get wet when you open showers to warm up water, at least 3 power points didn't work, bedside lamps have 2 point plugs but there wasn't enough adapters to use them so we used 1 in each room, heater in our room had 2 feet broken off, light in 5th bathroom didn't work. We had to pay an additional "conservation levy" of ZAR540 at the reception before we could leave Sondela.

I liked everything about the property, very spacious and warm (home away from home). Also has everything a person needs during a vacation, from washing machine to board games

Some of the bedding and towels were a bit dirty. Could do with improvement there.
