Nice decor and was a good base for what we needed. Easy access with key safe box. WiFi available and streaming services on the tv. Dining room gives the ability to eat meals at a table.

Bathroom downstairs - think this should have been made clearer in the description as should how steep the stairs are. Microwave didn’t work, knives were blunt, kitchen/living room door hanging off its hinges and curtain rail in one of the bedrooms also coming away from one side of the bracket. Could do with a bit of TLC in a few places.

The house is big. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood with numerous small, convenient, and typical shops. The walk to the center of York is easy and relaxing.

I would have appreciated more attention to the linen and towel supplies. To be fair, the host took care to provide us with prompt assistance, but it was rather inconvenient.

Well located for all the York attractions. Very well presented and clean, with on street parking readily available. Quiet area too, so nice and relaxing.

Just a slight niggle, but needs kitchen knives sharpening.

Close taxi ride to and from the station/ shops. Easy to get into.

The couch was functional as seating but the pull out area to make it a bed was broken and not working. My sister still tried to sleep there as there were 5 adults but it had bed bugs and she woke up full of bites. Rug in the sitting room was not cleaned when we got inside. Lots of little notes that really did not make it pleasant but we did book last min and this was the available one.

Everything was ace :)

The location and the cozy environment .and above all Michelle was kind enough to accommodate us for an extra two or three days because our flight had gotten cancelled before .

It wasn't clean and there were hair all over the place .and there was no washing machine. So we had to go to a nearby launderette

Good location in walking distance to the centre of York. Clean and tidy. Unfortunately we found the beds very firm, we appreciate this may be personal preference but only stayed one night due to being unable to sleep

The property was very well situated for our stay, close to plenty amenities, it was clean, functional and served our purpose very well.

The pots and pans have seen their day and do need changing.
