Bridge of The Gods Motel, Cabins & RV Park

I would characterize this place as a motel of LAST resort. It did provide 4 walls, a ceiling and very basic indoor plumbing, but nothing else. There was not even a bar of soap in the bathroom. The room was reasonably clean, but the bedsheets were rumpled and I wondered if they had been changed after the last guest.

This place is worn down.

The location is what we were looking for. So it worked.

We booked a room with a tub/spa and we received a room without one. Then the boys in the office moved us to another unit with a kitchen and there were no dishes, pans or anything to make use of the kitchen. It appeared that there were some maintenance items that needed to be done, missing light bulbs. etc.

The unit I stayed in was nice and recently redone.

The beds were NOT memory foam like the sign reads. No hot tub, like the posting on Booking.com says. The hvac unit kicked on every 15 minutes all night long, and was extremely noisy. So either would be too hot, or too loud. Also, this company has a policy to charge $40 for any early check in. Even within minutes. I chose to wait 15 minutes to avoid the fee, but that's just silly.

There was no breakfast. Should let people know the store and restaurant close by 8pm.I liked the bed comfort and kitchen, could have used a toaster, and oven in it and updated cook stove. thought I had reserved to room with hot tub but was given the one with jetted tub. It worked but need to be clearer on the site. had trouble at first with toilet but got it figured out the office staff gave me a plunger and then I figured out have to hold down the handle for a longer time is all for it to flush properly

electrical outlets need updated some were very loose. website said ordered one room but got another.

The king bed was super comfortable!! Loved how spacious the bathroom was. And it was nice that they had live stream tv. It was also great that it was dog friendly (for additional fee). We saw some websites state it wasn't and some that it was. Our dog also enjoyed the stay! We only stayed a quick night and it met all of our needs! Great location! And safe! We accidentally left the key in the door ALL NIGHT and no stranger danger! Thank goodness! lol

Check out at 10am is a little early. Wished it was a little later but it worked for our schedule this trip!

Breakfast at the Family Dining was great!

No TV reception Toilet backed up

Food left in refrigerator from prior occupant. Dirty plastic butter knife on window sill in bathroom. Toilet ran constantly. Stringent odor like ammonia.
