Staff very accommodating and breakfast outside was nice.

Location hard to find at night taxi had problems after we were not picked up by the hotel as arranged. Showers not working, very little water in taps to wash.

The property is very nice behind the gate. The hotel room was very nice, including a large bathroom, A/C and fan. The family run hotel was very good at providing what we needed(communication a bit difficult at times) There is a restaurant and a bar. The meals we had were well presented and delicious. They arranged transport to the airport at 3.a.m which was very much appreciated.

The location is a bit out of sight, Google maps did get the driver to the location without issue. My only real complaint is that the charges are is USD and not Tanzanian Schillings. The exchange rate used to convert to TSC was high in my opinion. (Tanzanian government has just announced that it is making it mandatory to charge in Tanzanian Schillings in the near future.)

Price was great and while the room was small it had a clean bathroom. Also the A/C was newer so it gave good cold air output. Also the ceiling fan helped move the air perfectly at a lower setting. The staff were anxious to please and did make us welcome. We were able to order dinner however we had to do it about an hour in advance. Girlfriend said one of the best meals in Tanzania. And they have a bar to get wine and food. Also the night security guard came knocking on our door at 3:15 AM to make sure we were ready for the taxi at 3:30 AM. The shuttle driver got us to and from the airport on time.

It’s in a poor neighborhood with dirt roads and potholes. It has high walls and bars on the windows. It’s possible that the city electricity supply may be cut and they switch over to a generator. This is a bit noisy and has some fumes however closing the windows seemed to help a lot.
