Sandscape - Eco Beach House - Close to Beach - Pet Friendly

This was our second time at sandscape as we love it- a beautiful space, so close to the beach, everything you could need, bunk beds for the kids- and the lovely host even left them sand toy gifts which made their day!

Close to the beach. Nice facilities. One bedroom has small kitchenette.

Location is great—nice spacious rooms. Clean and supplied games and entertainment (board games) kept the kids busy on a rainy day.

It would have been better to have had a larger driveway in the front for a bigger family car. The house is eco-friendly, but it lacks an electric car charger. We only discovered the side light for the bedroom upstairs in the cupboard on the last day - it would be good if these were already by the bed. Not enough toilet paper for a large family for the weekend.

It was clean, tidy and very close to the beach. Had all the amenities that we needed.

Think maybe some of the shared gardens could be kept better.

Great location, within minutes of the beach. The two main bedrooms are big and comfortable. Great mattresses. Quiet (as it was in the off-season). Good parking. Enough utensils, crockery and cutlery in the kitchen to cook a nice meal.

The outside seating area on the ground floor was dingy, with dirty wooden benches and dirty walls, so it did not appeal for having breakfast outside. Overall, the ground floor was quite dark, due to the dark wallpaper and opaque windows at the front. The standard of cleanliness was not up to scratch, with dusty corners, mildewed bathroom sealant, smeary kitchen appliances, windows covered in bird poo, and cobwebs. Overall, the property is in need of decorating - lots of scoff marks on the walls and skirting boards, worn floors in the kitchen and hallway. All of this made what could otherwise have been a great property less appealing.
