39 North road Studios near QE and UOB

Great location, easy instructions to access the premisses. The host is very responsive and did help me with my questions and minor issues in a very kind and efficient way.

The internet wasn't great, very slow and i had to work on a presentation. The host told me it was a temporary issue, due to their internet suppliers.

In the images of the studio it showed towels on the bed but there was no towels also the WiFi was really bad and the door got jammed so we couldn't get out till the housekeeper came

No WiFi, the bed was so uncomfortable and broken I'm really disappointed as I could not sleep

Could not have been closer to UoB, the venue for the Commonwealth Games Hockey and Edgbaston Cricket Ground is also easy walking distance :) Owner responded to a couple of minor problems very timeously for which credit is due.

Shower in top floor room dribbled rather than flowed, insufficient towels, crockery and cutlery. Awful pillows, tiny double beds, plastic duvets. Quite obviously (smartish) student accommodation used to profiteer from Commonwealth Games. No problem with that ... the basics just have to be sorted out before upping the price ;(

it was a 5 min walk from the squash and hockey venue. access to the property was straight forward through a lock box fir the key. there was a large tv in the studios to catch up on the commonwealth games in the evening. there was a fridge , kettle and microwave.

we paid fir the accommodation because it said there was parking but we were forced to park several streets away. the area does not feel safe. there is rubbish everywhere ( the council should be ashamed of itself!) and we have just been woke up by a violent domestic argument (5.30am) in the street we are staying. I’m half expecting our car to be broken into when we get to it. the floor was dirty in our studio and the sheets on bed were a horrid material … quite uncomfortable. the bed head was torn.
