Beautiful view in a convenient location. Hot tub is great. Kitchen is well stocked. Easy walk to town and hiking routes.

Bathrooms are a bit dated.

"The perfect place to unwind and enjoy Akaroa."

We had an outstanding stay at this beautiful home. The decor was so thoughtfully personalised, making it feel like a true home away from home. Everything was well organised, with clear instructions for all appliances, including the spa, and helpful notes on where to find everything within the house. The property itself was perfectly positionedā€”right next to the Giantā€™s House, which was fascinating to look out on from the window, yet surprisingly peaceful with no disturbance from visitors. The sea views from both decks were stunning, and the tranquil garden setting made it the perfect spot to relax. Thereā€™s really nothing to note as a dislikeā€”only that if youā€™re not a confident driver, itā€™s best to park on the road or grass verge, as entering and exiting the carport requires a carefully navigated three-point turn at minimum. Communication from the host was excellent, especially when we realised weā€™d left something behindā€”they were so helpful in arranging its return. The location was idealā€”not directly in the village centre, but just an easy walk away. We absolutely loved our stay and will most definitely choose this as our preferred accommodation when we return to Akaroa.

Beds and pillows were great. Didn't use the spa or pool table but nice to have that option

Would have expected basic toiletries in the shower etc at this price point. It was clean and tidy but well overpriced
