[Art of Bergamo] Luxury & design house

We liked the location (LOVED the fountain outside, walking distance everywhere, airport bus just 3 mins away), the window view. The apartment was spacious, the temperature was alright, no need of using the fans. The walls are thin so we heard the neighbors and the bells really loudly but that’s what you get with an old building so it’s not a con, just an information. All in all the apartment is really cute, detailed with wood and stones. We actually did only sleep there, being out the whole day, so can’t say much about the kitchen. The contact with the owner was really good, the answers were quick, the check-in process was easy.

Bed sheets should be replaced as soon as possible. There was a really bad smell in the biggest bathroom as soon as we walked in (The pipes? The shower itself? From the window? Pee smell? We didn’t know but it didn’t disappear). There was one clothes moth in one of the bedrooms. There was a problem with closing the door in one of the bathrooms.

The apartment was nicely decorated, clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable with enough room to sleep 6. The location was excellent. Very close to Citti Alta and a 15 minute walk to the shopping area . The train station was within walking distance too. The host was responsive to any queries

A few minor repairs need to be carried out but do not let this prevent booking the accommodation.
