Briardene - 2 Bedroom Cottage - Oxwich

It was really clean and very well organised with nice touches such as rugs on the sofa and logs for the log burner. Great location for the beach.

The low beams were a real hazard for my 6 foot 2, 83 year old father. He hurt his head badly so many times and had to really stoop which meant he couldn’t see where he was going. There should be a warning before booking. It was very uncomfortable for him and he was desperate to leave which spoilt our trip.

Lovely little cottage & so near Oxwich beach. We loved the piano & wood burning fire. Entry instructions very clear & nicely equipped kitchen.

Driveway is falling apart. Hard to reverse on to with one of the slabs missing. Also the shower was very snug! Hard to not hit your arm on the lovely shower fittings as so small! Finally the children said their bunk bed mattresses were a bit lumpy!

Location being walkable to Oxwich bay, beach saunas, dunes cafe/shops, the oxwich bay hotel and the michelin star Beach house restaurant. The cottage itself. Especially being Dog-friendly and having two decent sized dog-friendly gardens.

Not a negative because it’s a very sweet cottage but tall people, beware. The front door and ceiling heights are low. The shower is very small. 2nd bedroom is small with bunk beds only so cottage best for couples, or with young children. None of this detracted from our stay.

Quiet location with enclosed sunny garden. Well appointed, with comfy bed and very nice kitchen and bathroom. Great broadband. The cottage had everything you would need for a comfortable stay.

Great location. Cozy and comfortable space. Perfect location for exploring the area.
