Coco Plum Beach & Tennis Club & Marina

The villa and property were the perfect place to take in the beauty and essence of the Keys. The private beach was lovely and though our villa wasn't front row, we enjoyed the lush view of the palm trees and felt we were right at the oceanfront. Our son loved the pool and enjoyed the array of pool and beach toys provided. The villa had everything one needs, including a full kitchen with one of the most powerful blenders that we've come across in our travels (we love making smoothies but it works for all sorts of drinks). The beds are very comfortable with high quality linen and the two full bathrooms were a welcome feature as were the new washer/dryer in the unit. Lots of areas to relax and enjoy, both inside and on the big screened terrace/balcony. Staff are very friendly and effective, even helped procure a shop vac to clean out our sand-plagued car. Location is within a few minutes' drive of Curry Hammock state park which is great for family friendly kayaking. We also saw some guests get their kayaks delivered straight to the hotel and start paddling from there. All in all a great experience and we hope to be back.

The only thing we didn't like was having to leave.

Beach access, small and quiet community

Wonderful being next to the beach

The hot tub and pool close at sunset. The pictures online have additional windows where there are none. Zero amenities for a rainy day. Light switches were weird and confusing. Felt nickle and dimed on amenities (such as only given coffee for 2 days during a five day stay, then charged extra). Kitchen had no general spices or cooking oils or even sugar for coffee, so using the kitchen would be expensive and require us to buy a lot of basic things -- not worth it.

Stairs to small. Walls to thin, could hear the other bedroom.

Loved the pool at the beach. Screen porch was a nice place to hang out. Beach was nice. Well taken care of.

Pillows were not very comfortable
