CASA ABODE - Jesselton Quay (Sea View)

Sea View direct from living hall and room, convenient store just below from aprtment. Near to mall

Everything i like. Perfect place. Clean, new and cozy. Highest floor (32nd floor) to watch sunsets

A pleasant room with a view of the sea and not too far from the lively area of Kota Kinabalu would be ideal. The apartment unit is well-equipped with amenities such as cooking utensils, WiFi, TV channels, and much more.

The toilet was not in a desirable state of cleanliness. My wife made a personal effort to clean the bathroom area. Additionally, tissues were not provided.

First impression is the beautiful view from our room facing the sea and swimming pool. Enough space for 4-5 people. There are 2 rooms, small living room & dining + kitchen. Master room consist of Queen bed & second room 2 single bed. Sofa bed at the living room, small dining table with 3 chairs. Induction stove, 1 small 15cm sauce pot, 1 small 20cm frying pan, electric kettle and 1.8L rice cooker. Small fridge, dozen of plates, bowls and mugs to use, fork & spoons, scissors and knife. 1 common bathroom with shampoo & body wash provided. 4 minutes walk to Jesselton Ferry Point, tons of restaurants and in center town. Pictures of the perfect apartment are as per advertise but I will provide the downside of this place. Two single beds are nice to sleep on.

However the first smell kills the excitement bcos the bathroom drainage stinks. Even with the toilet cover close, bathroom door close the whole apartment will smells like sewage. Broken faucets, bidet tap doesn’t work, Master bed have plastic cover and it is annoyingly noisy to sleep on. Very uncomfortable. Broken sofa bed, and very dusty too. Ceiling fan full with dust and I had allergies throughout my stay. All 3 aircond need servicing, 16°c not cold. The only cooking you can do is instant noodle, small frying pan with full scratches that will cause you cancer. No toilet rolls, no extra rubbish plastic and baby cockroaches and ants swarming around on the walls and sinks. Will I book this place again in near future? Yes due to convenience of the locations.
