The rooms look modern.

The standard double room that we booked was absolutely not like it was shown on the pictures. The room had no windows to the outside, only to the corridor. For us it was was a no go. Also the bathroom looked completely different and was much smaller. The room was not 25 sqm, maybe 15 max. We asked to change to a room with windows and we had to take the largest room that was double the price. The new one turned out to be the one on the pictures from the smaller room: it had a large bathroom and the bed next to a window that was showed for the smaller room. Still, it had many disadvantages: the furniture was dusty, in the bathroom was much water below the box with toiletries, the water was there obviously since weeks as it was stinking when I lifted the box. There was mold in the bathroom. The AC heating was not able to heat the room and even with an additional heat radiator that the hotel gave us, AC + radiator were only capable to heat up until 19 °C after about 20 hours. So we were mostly freezing. For an additional night that we decided to stay in Bac Ha, we preferred to change the hotel.
