USI made an online reservation at The Patio on December 31, 2024. The total cost of the room was $151, including taxes, with an additional $20 deposit, bringing the total to $171. Upon arrival at around 12:00 PM, I spoke with the husband at the front desk, who asked me to return at 1:20 PM to confirm the room. When I returned at 1:25 PM, I noticed a sign on the window advertising a "Today's Deal" for $125. I inquired with the wife at the desk if my reservation could be adjusted to match the current promotion. She informed me that the lower rate did not apply since I had booked the room earlier online. I accepted her explanation but then requested to cancel my reservation, citing the "free cancellation" policy stated on Booking.com. She insisted that cancellations were not allowed. I proceeded to take the room key and walked to the room to consider the situation further. Upon reflection, I decided to cancel the reservation and returned to the front desk to inform her of my decision. This time, she agreed to cancel the booking but reiterated that I would not be eligible for the posted deal and added that I would not be welcome to return in the future. As I was leaving, I noticed the "Today's Deal" sign being taken down, which raised further concerns about the fairness of the situation. Having stayed at this location on many occasions in the past, I find this experience disappointing and disheartening. It felt as though the respect for returning customers was overshadowed by questionable practices.

USFirst night shower sewage Backed up flooded completely every day and underpiping at bedside seeping up through flooring Continued condition until departure could not bathe at all. Towel was stuck in toilet top causing backup also. Management refused my deposit refund. Lied in my face argumentative husband and insulting wife. Told nasty lying insulting angry gross lies to outsiders who accommodated me. I have stayed there for years before when parents first owned and managed. They were never rude they were nice management. I am highly astounded at the mannerism assaulting me. I called them a name which I apologize for as I allowed myself to be enangered I forgive them. God forgive them.
