Keene - Bell Tent

Location was fantastic! Quiet farm with beautiful horses. Tent was very spacious.

Mattress could be improved, and heater wasn’t very effective.

it was a lovely little area, i loved the views. i liked how it wasn’t too far out from dundee but was far enough it was nice and peaceful

my car didn’t appreciate the rocky road to get up to it, but that’s just my car 🤣

Good facilities, super helpful owner. Good location as a base for exploring surrounding tourist attractions during the day by car. Amazing location for star gazing at night!

It is a working farm so quite noisy at night but to be expected with the time of year/harvest.

I should not say this , but with a couple of improvements this place could charge double! They under sell what’s there and the photos do not do it justice!

This place had a lovely back drop from the tent and some great local walks too with Wildlife to the plenty. The staff were lovely and engaging and made sure we were okay and comfortable, the bed mattress is thin but is perfect I’d say for most people, we loved the bbq and the kitchen area which came with utensils and fridge access. Shower facilities and toilets were also great with even the option of an outdoor shower if you so wish. We will definitely be back.

I’d would say a fire pit would be a great addition however I mentioned this and they told me that it can be offered if the users are fire aware and sensible

Our stay here was so much fun! The bell tent was lovely, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the bbq facilities and the outdoor (covered) seating area. The location is great - within easy access of Dundee but still very much an escape to the countryside. For a campsite, the bathroom facilities were excellent and within easy reach of the sleeping accommodation. The family who own the site were very welcoming and eager to make sure we enjoyed our stay and had all the information we needed. We will definitely be returning soon!

The location was beautiful, the owner was very friendly, appreciated that there was a fridge and stove, shower was nice and warm, not too far from Dundee if I needed anything from the shop, dog friendly

The location. Despite being near a farm it was so peaceful. The horses were beautiful and my children loved patting them daily. Short drive from Dundee.
