Hidden Hut - Aros Sea View - 6 Mins Walk to Tobermory

Quaint, small, serviceable pod. Cosy. Great views. Within walking distance of Tobermory. Ideal for a couple not wanting to spend a great amount of time in doors. Has all the facilities needed. Very well laid out. Underfloor heating. Would definitely recommend and revisit.

At least one light switch didn't work No blind in the bathroom, no heating in the bathroom.

Nice and calm location yet close to all amenities.

I really loved the pod and it was warm.. we didn't stay much in it except for the night as we were travelling around the isle but the mornings were really amazing seeing the deers across in the fields. we did even get up close but not too close to see them. The host was really nice and since they lived near the property really gave us a lot of space but was there to help us when needed. so thank you very much!

I think the pictures of where it is located could be a bit misleading cos it looks as if the pod is remote / off grid. So it would be great if you can say that it is close to the owners property possibly in their parking space. cos ideally people would get the idea its off-grid and remote with no one around if that's what they were looking for as an experience and might be disappointed if it's not.

Deep in darkest and freezing cold winter, we were looking for something a little special. Somewhere different, somewhere cosy and somewhere quiet and relaxing. We were very lucky to find the Hidden Hut in Tobermory as our decision to take a break was a very last minute one. Firstly - communication from booking was quick friendly and efficient with host Elaine. On arrival, we were welcomed by a very attractive pod in the corner of our hosts garden. Lights and heating on - we were expected. The pod (hut) is of the highest standard. There is such a lot squeezed into this small space without feeling squeezed. A large shower, a fitted kitchen with oven/grill/microwave. A double bed including a small sofa which offered extra sleeping space for a third person. The Hidden Hut was so cosy. I mean outside temperatures didn't exceed zero degrees throughout our stay, yet the underfloor heating maintained the inside temperature perfectly.. There was just about everything you could need if you wanted to cater for yourself however, it was only a 20 minute walk from the colourful pubs and restaurants should you wish to treat yourself.. We visited a few areas on the island, including the distillery, shops and enjoyed a few chilly walks but, without a doubt, the Hidden Hut was our highlight.. We loved it and will hopefully return for a repeat winter stay very soon. Thank you Jim n Judith

The hidden hut is super cute. Very clean and cosy and has everything you need. It’s a great location, lovely views and only a short walk into town.

Hidden Hut is a small but very well designed ,self contained unit. Located on the outskirts of Tobermory in a quiet rural area, it has everything you need for an enjoyable stay.A kitchen sitting area with a separate bedroom and bathroom.The infloor heating is lovely to come home to after a day out exploring.

We travel by public transportation and for us the only drawback was walking up the steep hill with our bags to get to the property. If you have a car this wouldn’t be a problem.
