M'AMA apartment 2

Everything was super clean and very well prepared, flexible check-in hours, very kind host highly recommended!

The apartment was really great! Very modern, clean, a nice terrace (with a little lounge, a table, some chairs and plants that are not yet on the pictures on Booking), well working airconditioning in both bedrooms and the kitchen which were very welcome with the high temperatures in Sicily, a nice shower with very good water pressure, enough towels and even some soap, shampoo and toothpaste. The owners are also amazing. They do not speak (very well) English, but we managed to understand each other or used text messages. They gave us some nice tips to visit Sicily and always were very quickly to reply if we had a question. Even when we locked ourselves out of the apartment at almost midnight, the owner came with another key within 10 minutes. The neighborhood is best described as being a suburb of Palermo. There is not a lot to see, so a car is a nice to have if you want to visit Sicily (there is also a train station less than 5 minute walk). We always found a parking spot max. 2 min walk from the apartment. The neighborhood has also a lot of nice little bakeries (we loved the one on the parking lot and Antico Forno (+/-N° 592), a very good pizzeria (La Fornace - gigantic pizza for less than 15 euro) and also a sushi take-away that was rather good.

For some people the stairs might be a burden (since there is no elevator). The apartment bedrooms/bathroom is situated on the second floor and the kitchen/terrace on the third floor. Additionally, if there are a lot of appliances used at the same time, the electricity tends to fall out completely. The issue can be easily fixed by turning on the power again, but the power button is on the ground floor (so a lot of stairs). However, we had a good laugh with this and it would not hold us back to book the apartment again.
