The food and service were excellent.

Food excellent catered For celiac as well which was important . I messaged the Angel before my stay and had a quick response . Staff really welcoming and accommodating. Rooms are above restaurant and bar so can have an evening meal .

The beams in the bedroom could be tricky for a tall person.

This grade II listed building is incredible! I loved the quirkiness, my room was adorable with a large bathroom and really comfortable. I was only there one night, attending a wedding nearby, which means I sadly didn't get to spend as much time there as I'd have liked! Delicious breakfast. Massive thanks to the owners for calling me after I left to tell me I'd forgotten my phone charger, so I could return to retrieve it!

Really lovely village to explore and the building I stayed in was one of the villages historic buildings - beautiful. The food was excellent.

Nothing I didn't like but it is expensive when travelling alone. couples get a much better deal (this is why neutral face on value).
