Very noisy road, very noisy neighbours behind the wall next door

When I arrived at the property nobody was there, I phoned and was told I had been moved to a different location. I was not told this would happen until I arrived. The new property was a 15 minute drive from where I wanted to be, i was completely unprepared for this and was late for a theatre production I had paid 50 pounds for. My entire evening was ruined and through no fault of my own. I deliberately booked a room in Ilford and ended up nowhere near there. I am very angry about this and will not use this website anymore

Convenient for a conference I attended in the area. Lowest cost accommodation I could find at the time for 1 night’s stay.

Only a 3 hour check in window. Arrived 2 hours into the check-in window but the room was not ready upon arrival so had to wait in the lounge whilst the host cleaned my room. Only 1 bulb out of 3 bulbs working in the bedroom. Mattress was short in length and the box-spring underneath was much longer. My legs hung off the end of the bed (I’m 5’7 or 169cm so not extremely tall). Sent polite & friendly messages to the host also highlighting how to improve a guest’s experience (points above), but received extremely unprofessional & insulting responses from the host that were irrelevant to the booking and the points raised.
