82a Nelson Street

It was seized by the police, 2 hrs before our journey, due to a cannabis growth at the property, from the tenant before us. We were put in other accommodation, but it was small, and so was the shower, also disappointed with the mth. We wanted kettering for lots of reasons thats why we bkd it. Staff were gd, but it was very noisey where we were. This also upset my dog...

Very dusty and dirty. Had to stay in another apartment first night. Did not get any info before we arrived.

The flat was clean and comfortable. Comms with the host in advance were good.

The electrics in the hallway worried my colleague who knows about these things. There was a problem with the cut-out and the light switch which need to be fixed. The toilet cistern wobbles. There were also not enough chairs and bowls for three people.

When we left 6hrs later

The fact its advertised for 4 people and shows on pic double up and down, well I took pics it's a double down a single up, smelt terrible. Couldn't find 82a as you have to go into 82 and there's another door for 82a not visible neighbours didn't even lkniw there was a 82a. No garden very steep stairs to access property. Hairs all over bedding. Glad we only booked 1 night never again

Property was clean had many plug sockets lol

When we arrived the property had no electricity so the fridge wasn't cold and we had to wait for them to come and top up the electricity however this wasn't a huge issue as they dealt with it in a reasonable amount of time. Also would have been nice to have a microwave but not a huge issue as it was only one day.

Great location, we were visiting the lighthouse theatre a cheaper taxi ride away, under fiver... Some great food in the area plus night life. Great value for money, Steve the host is easy to contact and informative
