"The house felt quite basic and not very welcoming. Very little sleep left me feeling tired & grumpy"

4.0

The house was clean and the Sitting room & dining room were comfortable. The kitchen was fairly well supplied with cooking utensils etc. We could have done with some red wine glasses though. The house was very quiet and pretty central, so that was good.

The mattresses on the beds (particularly the single bed) were VERY poor. As I was the single older member of the party ... I was horrified by how uncomfortable the mattress was. I ended up sleeping on the sofa all 3 nights ... but sleeping very badly which really impacted on our trip away. I was exhausted. Mattress toppers from Ikea go along way to making a bed more comportable. The bed is the most important thing when you are on holiday and needs to be invested in. The other beds were not great either ... NO spare loo rolls .... I think you should make it clear that there are no basic supplies available in the house and remind guests to bring these items with them. It's especially annoying when it's a very short break. A simple welcome pack would have made us feel a little more special on arrival ... perhaps a bottle of wine and a few local delicacies would have been nice.

"Nice house in great location for St Ives"

9.0

Nice well equiped house Great location

There is a mould issue We did our best opening windows and heating it but it had already built up. Parking is really far away and only suitable for fit people as up a hill.

"A great little find. Perfect for a family of 5 in a central location with parking!"

10.0

Having stayed in St Ives many times, we very much appreciated the closeness and lack of steps to the town. House is very well presented and was perfect for our family of 5 (3 generations).

Little to complain about so truly nickpicking. Maybe some more crockery e.g. mugs so when some in dishwasher you can still have a drink... we tended to put on overnight as would have drink on return each night but mugs dirty from breakfast. Would have been great with a second toilet but we knew before booking so can't complain about it. Distance to car park (but extremely grateful to have one!)
