Tao Resort and Villas (SHA Extra+)

It was horrible! In our villa there was a very strong mold smell, we tried to contact the reception, no one responded to us. we were supposed to stay for 5 nights, we hoped the smell would evaporate but after the first night we left and no one contacted or wrote back to us with any offer, apology or explanation. A completely ruined start of our holidays, with the abnormal smell of mold to which I am allergic and im sure it can cause serious health issues to other unaware guests also…

Nice big rooms, lovely pool and a 15 min walk to the beach which was ideal

I have to say there was a damp smell which did cause my clothes to smell but apart from that very accommodating to my needs

Clean and well maintained. European style box houses, felt very much at home. Water in the fridge, clean bedsheets and towels.

Check in took a while. Luckily was in contact via WhatsApp and my room was ready and open. Other guests had to wait as well at check in time opening. My terrace was the only one "exposed" to the pool, the others were better hidden. Property is open for access when there is no staff around.

I did like the room.

There was no housekeeper to clean the room. We stayed there for 3 nights and 4 days - it’s better to have someone to clean the room once or every day like other hotels.
